Joshua Tree National Park

The Assyrian National Convention in 2019 took place in Palm Springs, California and we couldn’t miss on the opportunity to explore Joshua Tree National Park.

A small group of us gathered as we drove through the desert and pulled up on random spots as we saw the colors of the sky change.

The sunset was unreal. From pastel colors to the vibrant colors of the sky, by far it has been the best sunset we’ve ever seen.

As if sunset wasn’t amazing, stargazing took it on another level. Stargazing at Joshua Tree National Park is out of this world. It has one of the darkest skies and you can almost guarantee a cloudless night. As we all laid in the bed of a pick-up truck we heard coyotes in the distance.

If you want to learn how to take photos of the night sky, check out this blog and learn how!
